REACH supports programs that help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build connection, confidence, and community. That includes recreation, enrichment opportunities, social events, educational, vocational and support for REACH 4 T-RADD athletes and participants.

REACH Day at the Alameda County Fair, sponsored and hosted by Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert
A day at the county fair creates the opportunity for the I/DD community to participate in a shared event, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion. The carnival and arcades offer a variety of sights, sounds, smells, textures, and tastes along with the learning opportunities available by exploring livestock exhibits, agricultural displays, crafts, local history, and demonstrations, supporting curiosity and lifelong learning.
Ride for a Cause, Experience the Adventure
Each year, a team of from REACH rides these scenic routes through Bay Area backroads and over the Benicia-Martinez and Carquinez Bridges to support Special Olympics Northern California while enjoying waterfront views, rolling hills and an unforgettable Northern California adventure.
Chamba Collective Entrepreneurial Workshop
Chamba Collective’s Workshop–”Unlock Your Potential” is learning creative production techniques and using professional maker equipment, like 3D printers, to build unique entrepreneurship-focused skills sets. By learning about business concepts in an accessible and supportive environment, participants can develop confidence and discover new ways to achieve personal and vocational goals.
REACH 4 T-RADD Celebration and Recognition Pizza Party
Athletes are recognized for their hard work and accomplishments during the sporting season. Hearing from their coaches about how they excelled during the season and competition, makes participants feel valued, capable, and proud of their achievements. Celebrating with others in a fun, supportive environment promotes happiness and strengthens relationships with peers, family members and coaches.

Annual REACH 4 T-RADD End of Summer Dance Party
Hosted in partnership with First Tee of the Tri-Valley
At the end of summer, athletes from all sports come together for an evening of fun, activities and dancing to the DJ. Dancing with peers, friends, coaches, support staff and family encourages interaction, conversation, and relationship building.
Annual REACH 4 T-RADD Bike to Bridges Cycling Team
Tri-Valley REACH sponsors a fun biking experience supporting the development of physical fitness, confidence, independence, social connections, and community inclusion. By participating or sponsoring the REACH 4 T-RADD team, you are raising awareness and building friendships.
RADD Randal Museum
Tri-Valley REACH is sponsoring a RADD activity to the Randall Museum, a Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Art Center that fosters the love of science, nature and art. Participants will enjoy a rich educational and creative experience, combining museum exploration with hands-on activities that encourage participation and self-expression.
REACH 4 T-RADD Holiday Party with Santa & RADD Holiday Dinner & Dance
Celebrating this special occasion and meeting Santa has become a cherished annual experience. REACH 4 T-RADD participants enjoy lunch, visiting with family, friends and coaches culminating with a visit from Santa. Each participant shares their holiday wishes with Santa and receives a lovely gift. This interaction helps an I/DD individual practice social and communication skills. And our sponsored RADD Holiday Dinner and Dance offers an opportunity for social connection and even more celebration during the holiday season.

Does REACH provide scholarships?
Yes. REACH provides scholarships through the City of Pleasanton RADD program for adults who are low income so they can take part in various activities that may not be available to them, otherwise.

Does REACH only focus on housing?
Housing is central to the mission, but REACH also supports programs and events that help adults with I/DD feel connected and included in the wider community. While affordable housing is a priority, community activities remain an important part of quality of life.
