REACH for Special Adults is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities by offering resources encompassing education, activities, community participation and housing opportunities.
REACH has eleven homes in the Tri-Valley serving 34 individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs.
The REACH mission is to provide resources, education, activities, community participation and housing opportunities that will enable adults with developmental challenges live full and independent lives.
REACH envisions a community that supports our efforts to help adults with disabilities to live, access and participate fully in all aspects of an activity or service in the same way as any other member of the community.
REACH believes adults with developmental disabilities are to be recognized and honored for their fundamental value, not their disability.
REACH believes adults with developmental disabilities deserve to have choices in their living arrangements and pursuit of their passions.
REACH believes adults with developmental disabilities belong in the community.
REACH believes collaboration and partnership within our organization, and with others who share our vision and values, are keys to our sustained success.
