Amador hosts Special Olympics Spring Games.

Hundreds of athletes from throughout the Bay Area arrived at Amador Valley High School last Saturday to compete in the Special Olympics Northern California Spring Games.
The competition featured 12 delegations of more than 370 child and adult athletes with intellectual disabilities from Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo and Solano counties vying in volleyball and track and field events.
