Emily Pezzutti

Marketing Consultant
Emily Pezzutti is a nonprofit consultant specializing in overseeing communications and marketing efforts for a myriad of nonprofits. With over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, Emily is passionate about macro social work, driving large-scale change, and fostering meaningful community relationships. Her expertise spans nonprofit development and grant writing, marketing and communications, community outreach, and program design.

Emily’s dedication shines through her work as she strives to be a catalyst for lasting impact. Emily holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University, where she graduated with Honors Research Distinction. During her leisure time, she finds joy in creating new recipes, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes alongside her husband, spending cherished moments with her son, and taking long walks with her dog Archie.

Judy B. Lloyd

Director of Strategic Growth & Community Engagement
Judy B. Lloyd is a nationally recognized strategist and communicator with 20+ years of experience in government, public policy, advocacy, and community engagement. She began her career on Capitol Hill, earned two presidential appointments, and served as a senior advisor to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole—playing a leadership role in the appointment of the first person with a disability to the U.S. Civil Rights Commission.

After moving to California, she represented the U.S. Labor Secretary in the Western States. She was awarded the Secretary’s Exceptional Achievement Award, the SF Business Times Woman of Distinction in Politics & Government, and was inducted into the Contra Costa County Women’s Hall of Fame.

Locally, she has led a chamber of commerce, advises small businesses, serves on several nonprofit boards, and hosts the Purple Inspiration Podcast, spotlighting remarkable women. Judy is the CEO & Founder of Altamont Communication Strategies.

Jeff Freihammer

Operations Manager
Jeff Freihammer is a Minnesota native who has lived and worked in the East Bay since 2017. With a background in real estate development, institutional banking, and property management, he joined Tri-Valley REACH as an Operations Manager in 2026.

Jeff values the role stable housing and strong support systems play in fostering independence for adults with I/DD and is proud to help families close that gap. As REACH continues to grow, he focuses on strengthening infrastructure through updated policies, procedures, and technology solutions. He is especially inspired by helping expand opportunities for independent living for individuals in the I/DD community.

Tina Conmy

Resident Services & Community Relations Coordinator
Tina Conmy is originally from Sweden and moved to California five years ago. With a background in retail management and human resources, she is passionate about helping people grow and succeed. Tina has worked with the I/DD community for over 2 years, advocating for individuals and fostering their growth. She joined the Tri-Valley REACH team as a Resident Service Coordinator in 2026, bringing a people-first approach rooted in empathy and respect.

Tina values REACH’s mission and believes everyone deserves safe, stable housing and the opportunity to live independently. She is proud to support the I/DD community and is committed to making a positive, lasting impact in the lives of those REACH serves.

Debbie Rieza

Board Member
Debbie is a dedicated advocate for empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Inspired by her experience as a parent to a young adult with autism, she has devoted her career to expanding meaningful opportunities for individuals of all abilities.

As the founder of Chamba Collective, Debbie leads a program that supports adults in developing and running their own micro-businesses, blending creativity, skill-building, and entrepreneurship. She is also the owner of Ohana Care Home, a nurturing residential setting that prioritizes safety, independence, and a strong sense of community. Across all her work, Debbie is committed to fostering environments where people feel valued, capable, and connected.

Daniel Jon Kostalnick

M.D., Board Member
Daniel is a board-certified physician psychiatrist with both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He has advanced training from UC Irvine and UC Davis. “Dr. K” brings depth and experience from the medical, psychiatric, and neurodevelopmental perspectives.

He joined the REACH board because he deeply believes that inclusion, sustainable and secure housing, and the support of community creates opportunities and a foundation of belonging and dignity for our community members with different abilities. These values were inspired by his mother’s lifelong work supporting deaf and special education students. As a Pleasanton resident, he is committed to assisting REACH foster and strengthen its mission to expand opportunities for all members of the Tri-Valley community.

Renee Kantor

Board Member
Renee is a strong advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities. For more than thirty-five years she has worked with various local, state and federal agencies to find the appropriate educational, medical, social and residential opportunities for her daughter.

Renee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology, and she currently serves on the Parent Board at the University of San Diego. She has previously served on several Home Owners’ Association boards, and currently manages several personally owned properties. Renee has chaired many charity fund raising events and she has volunteered with numerous non-profit organizations. Renee is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Brian Gentry

Board Member
Brian is a Vice President and Senior Private Banking Officer and Ambassador with Fremont Bank in the Tri-Valley, having been in banking for over 35 years. He specializes in working with business owners and individuals on their loan and banking needs. He is active in the Pleasanton community, serving on the Board of Directors for Pleasanton Partnerships in Education and Keystone Adult Learning Center for the last fifteen years or more.

He was on the Board of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce for 8 years. Brian is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Pleasanton, having been a member for over 20 years. He coached competitive youth soccer for 16 years for the Ballistic United Soccer Club of Pleasanton and coached Lacrosse for one season also.

Jed Dooley

Board Member
Jed is a seasoned litigation attorney at the national law firm, Spencer Fane. With two decades of legal expertise, Jed advises clients through a diverse array of legal challenges, including shareholder claims, alleged breaches of fiduciary duty, and lease disputes.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Jed actively contributes to his community as a member of Tri-Valley REACH and the Pleasanton Rotary Club. Previously, he served on the board of St. Clare’s Christian Preschool in Pleasanton and Junior Achievement of Silicon Valley. When he’s not in the courtroom or office, you’ll likely find Jed on the sidelines of a soccer field or in a dance studio, cheering for his twin daughters.

Patrick O’Brien

Vice President of Real Estate Development
Pat is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Leisure Sports and has been involved in many community service organizations in Santa Clara, San Joaquin and Alameda Counties. Pat currently serves as Treasurer of the Three Valleys Community Foundation and as President of the Alameda County Fair Foundation. He was a founding partner in the Hacienda Business Park, past President of the Alameda County Fair Association and past Chair of the Cal Expo State Fair.

He is Chairperson of the Hacienda Child Development Fund, past President of the Alameda County Fair Association and Cal Expo State Fair. He has served on the Family Service Association Board in San Jose and Tracy High School Business/Education Partnership. Pat is very committed to advancing educational programs and promoting partnerships between Education and the Business Community.

Carolyn Zalewski

Secretary
Carolyn holds a degree in magazine journalism from Syracuse University and a law degree from Albany Law School, she brings a wealth of knowledge and public service to Tri-Valley REACH. Carolyn practiced law in a variety of capacities for approximately 14 years as Assistant General Counsel at Capital One Financial Corp and as Senior Corporate Counsel at Circuit City Stores in Richmond, VA. When Carolyn’s son was diagnosed with autism, she left law to focus on his needs and has contributed as a board member for several non-profits over the years, including P.A.R. (Providing Autism Research) For Kids’ Sake, Sunflower Hill, Amador Friends of Music, and most recently serving as the president of the Futures Explored Board of Directors.

In addition to her service as a board member, she is active in NorCal Special Olympics, served on the Pleasanton Unified School District Special Needs Committee, and has worked as the Parent Volunteer Coordinator for the Futures Explored Joey Travolta Short Film Camp for several years.

Philip Wald

Treasurer
Phil is a retired finance executive with over 40 years of financial experience. He most recently was a controller with Kaiser Permanente for 29 years, and before that worked in financial services and public accounting. He is a CPA, (inactive), and serves on a number of non-profit boards in Northern and Southern California. Phil has an adult son with autism and intellectual disabilities and is acutely aware of the issues and opportunities to enrich the lives of those that are intellectually challenged.

Having lived in the Bay Area for over 60 years, he witnessed tremendous growth and watched the valley blossom into a business center and wonderful residential community. With his financial background, he promises to always strive to ensure that resources are put to their highest and best use to optimize the living conditions and opportunities for those living with I/DD.

Sharon Almeida

Vice Chair
Sharon is the CEO of Cents & Sensibility, Inc. located in Pleasanton. With more than 35 years of experience in financial and investment advisory services, Sharon continues to guide local families by providing clarity and instilling the confidence necessary to make important wealth decisions. Sharon is an active member of the Tri-Valley community.

Volunteering for REACH for nearly two decades has allowed her to help adults with developmental challenges enrich their quality of life. Sharon’s bonus son, Victor, previously lived in two REACH properties and is one of our Tri Valley athletes. Sharon previously served on the board of the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation.

Kay King

Chair
Kay King is a retired national account manager with Siemens ICN and has been actively involved with various non-profit organizations. For the past 13 years, she has been a year-round coach and manager for T-RADD, East Bay’s Special Olympics Northern California team. She currently serves on the board of Castlewood Women’s Golf Group and a member of Castlewood Golf Committee.

Kay served several years on Valley Christian’s School PTF Board and made several trips with Cornerstone Fellowship’s Mission Teams to Kenya in support of the Nakuru Children Trust organization. Kay is committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the areas of independent living, sports activities and social events.
