At REACH, we strive to create accessible and safe living environments. As part of this commitment, we undertook a handrail project at one of our properties, specifically designed to support the safety and mobility of our residents. Through the installation of handrails, we are offering our residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) the assistance to confidently and freely navigate their home without the heightened risk of falls or accidents. These types of accommodation projects not only enhance safety and mobility, but also provide our residents the opportunity to age in their home without the worry of having to move before they are ready.
The support of our donor community has played a vital role in bringing these types of critical accessibility projects to fruition on our properties.
