Tri-Valley REACH is pleased to announce they have been awarded a $1,500 Grant from Robert Half International. Robert Half is a global staffing firm who is known for their long history of innovation and high ethical standards.
Most of Robert Half’s company-sponsored philanthropic programs are focused on education and workforce development and while Tri-Valley REACH does not fit that exact description, Robert Half recognizes the value of independent living for an adult with developmental disabilities. They realize living independently creates an environment where an adult with a developmental disability learns confidence, independence and life skills allowing them to take responsibilities and ultimately enter the workforce.
A key directive of REACH, in addition to providing affordable housing for a population that is classified in the extremely low income category, is to keep the REACH properties well maintained and in good working order. These funds will be used toward the flooring upgrade project currently underway in the 11 REACH properties in the Tri-Valley.
