Castlewood Women’s Golf Club raised over $25,000 for Tri-Valley REACH in this year’s charity golf tournament. Before teeing off, all players were greeted with lively ballpark music over loudspeakers, carts were loaded with peanuts, cracker jacks, baseball cookies and players were challenged in a putting contest using a bat to putt a golf ball around a baseball diamond!

A successful fundraising tournament is not possible without the generosity of the CWGC ladies, their guests and sponsors. Special thanks and recognition to the sponsors:

Heritage Bank, Fremont Bank, KIDS-N-NEED, Alco Iron and Metal, Hacienda Child Development, Jeanne & Pat O’Brien, Kares Construction, Gretchen Zaballos, Golf Girls, Nancy Moore, Nina’s Fashion, Inc., Dr. Mike Sue, Chore Chiropractic, Gloria Fuerniss, Kathy McKenna, Ronda Henstorf and the King Family.

REACH board members who participated in the event said, “This donation is absolutely wonderful and makes a significant impact for REACH continuing its mission to provide independent living opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.”

On behalf of the tournament committee, Renee Kantor, Dawn Pombo, Patty van Looy and Kay King, thanks to all our volunteers and CCC for making this event so successful and fun!
